Analog Remix

Recently Harrison posted an awesome video over on Defgrip regarding Mixtapes. He had mentioned maybe having a few lying around his parents house, which got me thinking. Awhile ago I had posted pictures of some mixtapes an old friend had made. I had phrased a question:

How can I find a girl like this again?

Travis Jutson: Facebook, can't go wrong. Unless she's fat, ugly and married now.

I guess a little more clarity on the matter was necessary. She dumped me later on... ouch! Ha-ha, no no it's all good. What was awesome was the time taken. A CD could have been bought, maybe some shirt, or even a little something something on the side. Instead the time was taken to compose a simple - yet at the same time complex - mixtape. To the girl, thank you.

With Valentines day approaching this seemed appropriate. And if your like me, hand-made gifts fit into the budge. So instead of pulling out the pocket-book pull out a pair of scissors... or maybe that old boom box.

Release Party?! - Raffle Prizes - Friends

Facebook is weird thing. My parents actually had a Facebook before I had one, and encouraged/forced that I do the same. Fuck... anyways I have an Event posted for the Release Party. RSVP if you'd like! AGAIN RAIN CANCELS THIS EVENT! SORRY!

So what's up with the party?!? Everyone always wants to know: "Hey what do I get out of this?", "Are their going to be fine ladies/gents in attendance?", "What about food?", and the ever elusive "Can I bring beer?"



You can win any of the above, and more! I've got a nice collection of Raffle Prizes so far with some other stuff possibly arriving in the mail. So far we've got: Bike Parts (bmx & fixedgear), Framed Art, Prints, Free copies of Ice Cold #5, stickers, and more! Ladies and dudes are always welcome to attend, of all ages too! With that said no drinking of alcoholic beverages, please. I don't know the size or turn-out factor, so I have not acquired a permit for such activities and cannot condone such a thing. Maybe next time! Food will be on hand though, with a donation of $2, you'll be able to enjoy hot-dogs, chips, and soda. Candy and other treats should be around as well.

Happy (insert holiday here) - Issue #5

It's holiday season. I've been running into a few familiar faces from high school. Always weird! Other then holi-daze bringing out the crazy folks... it seems to produce good web videos.

Other then that, Issue #5 has been in the works. I was going to do a New Years release. But that's tomorrow, and well... it's not gonna happen. Instead I'm thinking of doing something around my birthday. I usually take it real mellow, but I'm thinking a BBQ @ Skatepark? I'll hand out some zines, stickers, maybe even hand-me down bike parts. I'll still pondering this one... I'll keep this filled with updates! The date would be Jan 30th, 2010.
