Party Time - Sellout - Employed!

As mentioned before, this past Sunday (February 14th) a show was held at 99 6th Street in Santa Rosa, CA. With a good number of bands and some sunny weather during the day it was sure to be a good time.

My day started off nice and mellow. First it was short jaunt on the road bike. With my back giving me troubles lately (anyone see the back check, here? Ooo... Eww...), I've been trying to find some new ways to exercise. For those that haven't tried other forms of cycling, I highly recommend and encourage you give it a try. After the ride was finished, and one free-lunch care of my pops - thanks pa, it was back to SR to prepare for the show.

While at the show, I had my small table set-up. Maybe how Jason addressed 'New frame companies' with "They should've done some market research before...", I should've addressed 'New zines', ha-ha! Did you know Van Gogh only sold paintings to his brother while alive? I recently learned this fun little fact while browsing the world wide web. In any event it was great to distribute zines amongst the great crowd that came out to the show!

Lastly, if it does decide to rain this upcoming Saturday I think the event will be canceled. I have something in the works for Issue #6, but that's in March. I'm going to talk with some people around town this week about something else possibly... maybe a bike-shop. According to weather.com we have a slight chance of showers. I'll keep everyone posted!

The Frog goes down!

I just read over on the Deluxe site, that their team rider Frog took a pretty nasty fall. A fractured shoulder, bruised face, and some missing teeth... damn! For some awesome trails photos from over the pond visit: Im A Easy Rider



Also Nick over at, In the Gnar, just posted a good critique of military hats. It reminded me of my old Odyssey hat I had packed away. Diggin' this guy out reminded me of the awesome parts run Odyssey had made. And who can forget Adam Banton's signature backpack (Now on sale by the way! 29.99!)

And last but not least, I have some paintings over here for sale... on the cheap! Help me get a BMX again!
